Timbavati Private Nature Reserve 

River Sands Villa is a combination of luxury and opulence with exceptional private views overlooking a watering hole, in the heart of the Timbavati Private Game Reserve. It is positioned alongside the Sohebele River, a tributary of the Nhlaralumi River. A custom designed waterfall pool feature overlooks the watering hole that attracts a variety of wildlife throughout the day.

This opulent villa emits a private and luxurious feeling with 2 spacious suites connected by the main lodge area with a large fireplace which makes up the heart of this villa. The villa is a personification of the term: “Space is Luxury”

The Timbavati forms part of the Greater Kruger Park and offers exceptional game viewing including all the Big Five, most notably leopard, and also wild dog. Once again privacy is accentuated in the twice-daily game drives on the villa’s private game vehicle, which provide for close encounters with birds and animals, large and small.

Policies

* Bookings are only guaranteed upon receipt of a 25% deposit. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Full payment is required prior to arrival at the lodge.
* We recommend you arrive at the lodge between 13h00 and 14h00 as lunch is served from about 13h30.
* Check-out time before 11h00.
* At Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, you will be required to pay a vehicle entrance fee of R 230.00 per vehicle and a conservation levy of R 460.00 per person (valid until 31 December 2022, subject to change without prior notice). The conservation levy is payable at the lodge or can be prepaid.
* The Enkhulu Control Gate into the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve is open from 06h00 to 18h00.
* Please do not arrive at the lodge late, as you will then miss the afternoon/evening game drive and lunch, which we do not serve later than 15h00. It is also safer not to drive into the reserve and arrive at the lodge when it is dark.
* If you are going to be late due to unforeseen circumstances, please let us know on (015) 793-9021/22.
* Continuous cellular telephone reception just before the Enkhulu Gate.
* Please note, that there is no mobile network available in the reserve.
