KwaMbili Game Lodge provides an authentic safari experience at an affordable price. KwaMbili is situated in the Thornybush Game Reserve near Hoedspruit, within the Greater Kruger area. The reserve is home to the Big Five as well as an abundance of other game and bird species. This means good sightings – as you will see from our Guest Reviews. KwaMbili means “Place of Two”.

Our knowledgeable rangers will introduce you to the tracks, movements, sights and sounds which give you a window into the secrets of the African bush. We offer game drives with trained ranger and tracker in open 4×4 vehicles.

A shaded camp hide allows safe observation of animals drinking at the nearby waterhole, or at the dam further away. The swimming pool with a view out over the bush and a waterhole provides a relaxing spot for cooling off on warm days. Décor throughout the lodge is inspired by the film Out of Africa, based on Karen Blixen’s autobiography, starring Robert Redford and Meryl Streep.
