Discover the Hoedspruit Farmers Market

If you are looking for a vibrant community event that showcases the beautiful local produce and crafts, look no further than the Hoedspruit Farmers Market! Held at the Farm House in Zandspruit Estate from 7:30am – 1pm on the first Saturday of each month, this market is well worth a visit.

Featuring between 70 to 90 stalls, the market offers a variety of locally grown produce and bespoke products. The Hoedspruit Farmers Market is powered by the Kruger 2 Canyons Biosphere, a conservation organisation working with partners toward sustainable solutions for all life within this incredibly diverse region. By hosting the Hoedspruit Farmers Market, they provide a vital platform for small-scale growers, artists, and crafters from the region to connect with customers.


The host venue, The Farm House, adds to the market's charm. This leafy business complex includes safari operators, a spa, boutique shopping, and a restaurant with play areas for children to explore. Beautiful gardens provide a scenic backdrop for shoppers to wander among the stalls, enhancing the market experience with a touch of tranquility and elegance.


The friendly atmosphere makes every visit a pleasure for shoppers to enjoy a cup of locally-roasted coffee as they explore the stalls and an array of delicious street-style foods. You can find everything from locally grown fruit and veggies, fresh bread and pastries, herbs and plants, cheese, jams, honey, and unique sauces handmade items including jewellery, leather goods, art and stylish clothing.

Originally started by the Hoedspruit Chamber of Commerce in 2017, the market thrived under the guidance of Tansy McLean until it was taken over by the Kruger to Canyons Biosphere Region.

Hoedspruit Farmers Market Head to the Farm House at Zandspruit Estate on the first Saturday of each month for the Hoedspruit Farmers Market. Between 70 - 90 stalls offer bespoke, homemade products, locally-roasted coffee and delicious street-style food to enjoy while you wander. You’ll find everything from fresh bread and pastries to hand-crafted items, herbs and plants, jewellery, leather goods, art, stylish clothing, fresh produce, cheese, jams, honey and wonderful sauces while the friendly locals make it a pleasure to be there. Powered by the Kruger 2 Canyons Biosphere, the Farmers Market creates customer-access for small-scale growers, artists and crafters from the region. This monthly event brings everyone together, much like those charming markets in Europe's town squares selling everything from fresh produce to handmade crafts. It's a perfect way to spend a relaxed day, connecting with people and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.
