Wild About Hoedspruit is the destination guide for the safari capital of South Africa. Hoedspruit sits in the Lowveld of Limpopo, 55km from Phalaborwa Gate, 56km from Orpen Gate, and fifteen minutes from Eastgate Airport (HDS). The town is the gateway to the Kruger National Park and the private reserves that share its unfenced western border: Timbavati, Klaserie, Thornybush and Balule. Tzaneen is 90km north, Nelspruit 165km south.

The team behind the reviews

A safari tourism entrepreneur who arrived in Hoedspruit in the late 1990s and never left, he built and operates Aerotel Hoedspruit, the Bush Villa Collection, and Safari Web Online. He personally visits properties and writes the insider reviews on this site.
